John Elbert Wilson, Sr. receives the Kenny Award, 2014. According to the MyEasternShore News, the Kenny Award is "given to a person who has significantly contributed to the development of the arts in Kent County." John Wilson is responsible for the musical careers of multple Kent County students and residents, as well as perpetuated the prominence of several area choral ensembles. 2014
