Description This scrapbook page features two black and white photos and an invitation from Maryland State Teachers College at Bowie. A photo in the top left corner is of a man and seven young women posing around a birdbath. Names have been written above their heads in black ink. From left to right, their names are Mary, Helen, Mary, Dr. Young, Myline, Anne, and Peggy. The woman kneeling in the front has been identified as Arwilla. The caption to the right of the photo reads "Girls trying to get a good grade from deceased Dean Young." 

In the middle of the scrapbook page there is an invitation to the Pre-Spring Formal at Maryland State Teachers College at Bowie which is to take place on March 5th, 1949. The caption to the right of it reads "Did you go? 8:30 P.M. - 12 o'clock."

A photo on the bottom right of three young women sitting on swings. Their names, Helen, Peggy, and Ret, have been written below them in black ink. A group of boys stands behind them. The caption to the left of the photo reads "Demonstration school playground for little girls."
