John Brooks' Garnet High School Graduation Program, 1932. Brooks graduated from Garnet High School, the all-black school in Chestertown, MD, on June 10th, 1932. This commencement program gives the list of his classmates and school officials, as well as a sequence of events for the graduation ceremony. Brooks eventually married his wife Dorothy and had four children: Merle, John Jr., Elzie, and Carolyn. They lived in Coleman, MD. June 10 1932
