Photo of Mr. Nealy Brown. He is either at the Boardwalk in Atlantic City or Coney Island in New Jersey at the time of the photo. He was the babysitter for the Brooks siblings in the 1940's and 1950's. He called each of the children a different nickname: Merle was "Dude", John "Ole Folks", Ellsworth "Dee Dee" or "Brother", and Carolyn "sister" or "sis". Carolyn believes he had the last horse and buggy in Coleman, MD. She fondly remembers him babysitting her and her brothers, riding on his horse and buggy, and spending time with his horse "Old Smokey".
