Community picnics for the major holidays were annual events.  On Memorial Day the picnic was held at the Charlie Graves residence on Quaker Neck Estates. On the 4th of July, Mr Jazz Johnson hosted the community party.  On Labor Day, Mr. Walley hosted the community event.
