The Kent & Queen Anne's Hospital, Inc. Unit #2 was founded in 1959 by Ms. Delia Caulk. She had
a vision, saw a need and went to work. She was the first president. Her dream has lasted forty
years. Our purpose is to get the black communities involved in making contributions to the hospital
when needed.
Over the past forty years we have made many contributions to the hospital. Just to name a few:

three refrigerators for pediatric floor, toaster oven, meat slicer, resussi Annie and resussi baby
mannequin for CPR training, two chairs in Same-Day Surgery rooms. We have also made and paid several $1,000pledges. In 1989 we pledged $3,coo to the building fund of the hospital. Pledges of $1,000 to.Med. Lib.,oxygen analyzer and oxygen flowmeter (17).
We are proud to infom you we have our unit recognized by a name plate on a door on the third
floor and the big steel bulletin board in the sun room on the second floor.
We meet our obligations by sponsoring activities. Our next project will be a banquet in
memory of Mrs. Delia Caulk on October 2, 1999 at Emmanuel U.M. Church, Pomona, Md. We are asking foryour support by purchasing a ticket. The dues are $5.00 per year. If you are interested in
