A newsletter outlining the state of the Kent Kent and Queen Anne's Hospital Auxiliary and the hospital itself, urging community members to join. The letter also describes some events held and planned by the organization, including a membership drive.
Transcription:
The auxiliary has contributed nearly
$2,000’s worth of equipment to the
hospital, to achieve this suppers,
rallies, has [?], picnics, rummage
sales, parties etc have been held.
The meeting were held in the various
communities and the conference [?]
of the on the Third [Wednesday?] of each month.
the communal membership drive is held
in April and at
this year is planned to be held in
Jane’s M. church on Monday evening
April 16th the membership fee is $1.00 as ears
we pledge to support the hospital in
any way we can.
we have [?] and [?]
shop volunteers, participating at the present
Time.
This number has increased to a hundred
members, for the men as well as women.
we are urging all who are interested
in the letter[?] y our Community
to become members and
to a worthy cause
The new wing of the Hospital will
be dedicated on Sunday April 29th
1966 from 2 to 4 p.m.
