Letter telling Wickes about an altercation that occurred on the road near Thomas Adrey's store between the African Americans of Bayside and Fairlee for the purpose of "murdering" the African Americans of Eastern Neck. The fight was able to be broken up with only some injuries. A list of persons involved was provided to the sheriff.
