Copy of letter from Pres. Gibson to Dr. Benjamin Mays, of Morehouse College, June 27, 1968, regarding recommendations or suggestions of African American faculty for Washington College. Included is Dr. Mays' response, July 9, 1968, stating that the demands from white institutions for African American faculty have made it more difficult for HBCU's, like Morehouse, find it hard to retain good faculty and suggests recruiting from Ph.D. programs.
