Typed copy of letter from Washington College President Daniel Gibson to student, and Afro-American Student Association member, Carolyn Erwin. The letter is in response to four proposals the Association brought to Pres. Gibson including dormitory room assignments, the schedule of athletics and the exclusion of black institutions, the lack of African American guest lecturers and visitors in cultural activities, and lack of African American faculty.
