A color photo of a woman kneeling down to help a little girl sign the Community Commitment Mural in Fountain Park at the We Stand: Day of Agreement on June 19th, 2020 in Chestertown, Maryland. Behind the pair, a man stands watching. He is wearing a face mask to protect himself against the COVID-19 pandemic. More people, many also wearing masks, can be seen milling about in the background. The We Stand: Day of Agreement event was hosted by the Black Union of Kent County, Maryland, and was organized largely by John Queen, an African-American community leader. The Community Commitment Mural was coordinated by Raven Bishop in conjunction with Chestertown RivertArts. Community members' signatures on the mural signify their commitment to anti-racist work in Kent County and beyond. The finished mural was displayed at Chestertown RiverArts and will eventually be hung in John Queen's office.   June 19 2020
