Transcription:
Received from William Skinner of Queenans county the sum of forty pounds Common current money rating dollars at seven shillings and six pence each in full for the price for the price of a Negro girl Named Bet about thirteen years of age sold and delivered by me to him and to hereby bind myself only heirs executors and administrators and every of them to the said William Skinner his heirs and [illegibile] to and for the proper use and behoof of the said William Skinner his eirs and [illeigible] for ever against him and his heirs and against all and every other person and persons whatsoever who may claim the said negro girl in any manner of way whatever witness my hand this 13th day of April 1789
