Charles O. Wright was an African American man who was accused of trespassing on the premises known as Bud’s Restaurant, a white’s only establishment owned by Grover C. Hubbard. The incident escalated with Hubbard attempting to hit Wright with his car. However, Hubbard received only a ticket, while Wright was charged with trespass. Includes court filings and witness statement.
