A " Crown Dominoes" box from the Worton Point African American Schoolhouse Museum in Worton Point, MD.
Though many students who attended the schoolhouse preferred to play baseball, dodgeball or run races in the schoolyard during recess, rainy days called for indoor recess during which students would play with toys like these dominoes, dolls, or other indoor games. This set of Crown Dominoes was likely manufactured in the 1940’s.
