The Stanely Ringgold Connection outlines the intertwinement of the two families starting with Mary Oatsey Stanley and Joseph Clarence Ringgold. Their marriage resulted in ten children that survive into adulthood; Samuel, Charles, Raymond, William, Delia Caulk, Josephine Johnson, Hester Sewell, Elizabeth Gould, Ruth Briscoe, and Naomi Blackshire.
